Ranbir being genetically slim stays super conscious about his diet as he tries to take great care of his body by nourishing it with balanced foods and exercises as much as possible for his type of working schedule.
Ranbir Kapoor believes in eating right more than gyming so he keeps a regular check on what he eats and drinks a lot of water throughout the day, has naturally fit body also he wants it to look slim that is the reason he doesn't really believes in working out hard, but does keep a check on his diet to maintain his fitness.
For his upcoming movie Bombay Velet in which Ranbir is being portrayed as a boxer, Ranbir has to keep up his fitness level high as he has to undergo a complete transformation of his physique for which he has to undergo a complete diet change to maintain his look for the movie for which he has really worked hard.
Ranbir Kapoor Diet Plan:
Ranbir is typically a Punjabi boy and has mainly Non-veg eating habits, whereas his mother Neetu Singh has tried to incorporate some vegan stuff is his diet, adding mixed vegetables, fruits as she says that non-vegan foods radically dont have all the natural ingredients. A very few people know that Ranbir is a foodie at heart and likes to have all the mum cooked stuff.
Ranbir being a foodie at heart likes to have all the Punjabi non veg stuff and varied yum foods, also his body appetite is relatively smaller. Also Ranbir is often found unable to control his craving for soft drinks.
His fitness trainer Pardeep did prepare a special diet for Ranbir which contains all the required nutrients varied by different kind of foods divided between 5-6 meals a day.
DIET PLAN FOR BOMBAY VELVET:
Ranbir starts the day with a glass of sweet lime juice,
Breakfast: Milk with cornflakes, banana's (carbs), egg whites, omelet with brown bread and fruit juice.
Lunch: Two chapatis, Dal, a bowl of curd, Tandoori Chicken
Dinner: Roti, Sabzi(cooked of olive oil), green tea,grilled chicken, fish/salmon.
On the sets: Green tea, Juices, Fruits and Darjeeling tea, Chicken sandwich
Supplements used by Ranbir Kapoor: Multi- vitamins before and after workout as prescribed by his trainer and whey protein shakes twice a day after workout and after dinner.
Ranbir also avoids having salty foods as they have your face retain water and make it look bloated, specially in morning hours. Due to his amicable body he has to do a very little struggle to scorch fat from his body
Ranbir Kapoor's diet weakness: He has a craving for soft drink, sometimes a slice of cake every now and then. Also he has a weakness over grand mom's cooked food. He likes to have paya, jungli mutton or mutton pulav and other irresistible stuff, same is the case at Nani's home but his favorite cook has always been his daddi his mother says. Ranbir says that his diet goes completely out of control when he visits his daddi's home or nani's home. Ranbir have's junk food but don't overdo it, which is what he believes in and don't believe in working out harder after a night of bingeing.
Also adding to his other weaknesses other than his grand mom's food, he loves to have salami and blindly eats it, also his favorite cuisines are Italian and Chinese. Ranbir's mother is aware of his complete non-vegetarian diet so she makes him a vegetable juice in the morning which contain all the necessary vegetables.
