Paul Walker used to workout 4 days a week for which his routine was :

Day 1: Chest and Triceps

  • Flat Bench Press – 3 sets of 10 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Inclined Dumbbell Press – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Flat Bench Press – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Dumbbell Flyes – 3 sets of 15 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Tricep Pushdown – 3 sets of 12 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Skull Crusher – 3 sets of 20sec/1 min w-t-r ratio

 

Day 2: Back and Shoulders

  • Deadlift – 3 sets of 10 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Pull-ups – 3 sets of 15 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Dumbbell Row – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Military Press – 3 sets of 12 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Side Lateral Raise – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Shrugs – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio

 

Day 3: Legs and Abs

  • Squat – 3 sets of 10 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Leg Curl – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Leg Extension – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Calf Raise – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Crunches – 3 sets of 60 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Leg Raise – 3 sets of 40 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Bicycle Crunches – 3 sets of 40 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio

  • Bicep Curl – 3 sets of 12 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Preacher Curl – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Incline Dumbbell Curl – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
  • Hammer Curl – 3 sets of 20 sec/1 min w-t-r ratio
The rest of the week is dedicated to his adventure sports and combat training. Remember, you’re working with time rather than reps now -This method utilizes a prescribed work-to-rest ratio.
