We had a chat with Mark Twight who was fitness trainer for Henry Cavill for Man of Steel. He says it took five to six days of workouts per week for 11 months to achieve a superhero body. Twight said "We use physical means to basically change them in a physical way, so they can play a role and make a guy look like Superman."
Twight uses a punishing training routine called the "tailpipe:" which inculdes a 100-rep workout that will smoke calories and torch fat and will definitely leave you exhausted which has two sides exercise and recovery , The exercise portion is designed to get you gassed and the recovery method is the moment you finish an exercise you should calmly take eight controlled breaths in and out of your nose.
